Print ERP (“the App”) provides production management, order workflow, and print job tracking tools (“the Service”) to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account via the Shopify Admin API:

• Orders and order line items — to receive, display, and manage print jobs associated with customer orders, including order status, line item details, quantities, and custom attributes
• Products and product variants — to associate print job specifications with the correct products and variants in your store
• Customers — name, email address, and shipping address information associated with orders being processed through the App
• Files and metafields — artwork files, print-ready assets, and custom metadata attached to orders or products used to drive production workflows
• Inventory — stock levels and location data used to track fulfilment readiness
• Fulfilment — fulfilment orders and services data to update order status and trigger dispatch events within Shopify

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information once you have installed the App:

• Account and authentication information — your name, email address, and business name collected during setup and managed through our authentication provider, Clerk
• Address data — delivery and business addresses entered within the App, validated using the Google Maps API
• Artwork and file uploads — print-ready image files and generated download sheets processed through the App’s AI artwork tools
• Notification preferences — device and notification tokens used to deliver in-app and push notifications via Firebase
• Usage data — information about how you and your team interact with the App, including features accessed, jobs created, and workflow events
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps collected when you access the App

We collect information using the following technologies:

• Log files — track actions occurring within the App and collect data including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, and date/time stamps
• Session tokens — issued and managed by Clerk to authenticate your identity and maintain your session securely

We use the personal information we collect to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

• Process and manage print jobs and production workflows within your store
• Authenticate users and manage secure access to your Print ERP account
• Update order and fulfilment status within your Shopify store upon job completion
• Validate and auto-complete address data entered within the App
• Process and prepare artwork files, including AI-powered background removal, file conversion, and generation of print-ready download sheets
• Deliver in-app and push notifications relating to job status and workflow events
• Sync files and data with connected Google Drive accounts where authorised by you
• Send transactional emails relating to your account and production activity
• Communicate with you regarding your account, the Service, and App updates
• Troubleshoot issues and improve the performance and reliability of the App
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We share your personal information with the following third-party service providers only to the extent necessary to operate the App and provide the Service:

• Modal — an AI compute platform used to power artwork processing features within the App, including background removal, file format conversion, and generation of print-ready download sheets. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you uninstall the App, we will retain your data for up to 90 days to allow for reinstallation and continuity of production records, after which it will be securely deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Artwork files submitted for AI processing via Modal are not retained by Modal beyond the duration of each processing job.

Depending on your location, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of your data, and the right to data portability.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have these rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We process your information to fulfil our contract with you (providing the Service) and to pursue our legitimate business interests. Please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia, the United States, or other countries outside of Europe where our service providers operate.
